The only good part about this movie is the little history we learn about Spain during French Revolutionary times. (Late 1700's early1800's). Plot is absolute nonsense and the work of Goya (the famous painter) is an inconsequential part of the movie. Costuming is excellent. The only meaningful aspect of film is the depiction of the brutality of men to other men. Fits right into my concept of the human condition.
