Special effects, A+ (if you like war movies). Costuming and cinematography, A+. Story, B . . . predicable with little real dramatic tension.Personally, I have always been extremely interested in learning and experiencing how people live, and lived in all parts of the world . . . today as well as back in time. Movies have given me the opportunity to travel in time.
I thought The Last Of The Mohegans was a great movie about people in the 1700's in upper New York State. Robin Hood is an excellent . . . and realistic fictional piece about royalty and peasants who lived in England/France in the 1300's.
This movie expands the legend of Robin Hood. We are told how he and his band of merry men ended up in Sherwood Forest. I assume the sequel will describe his adventures in the forest and his skirmishes with King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham.
