A wonderful HBO made for TV movie about the struggles of an autistic person to be herself in our world that primarily accepts only "normal" people.. This rewarding biographical film is for every person who is handicapped in one form or another . . . whether it be physical, emotional or intellectual. That means all of us should see this film. Acting was wonderful. The movie gives insight into the minds of autistic people (and persons with Asperger's syndrome) and at the same time as providing an emotional lift to the viewer. A remarkable accomplishment.
Temple Grandin received many major awards. It won for Best Made-for-Television Movie, Best Director, Best Lead Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Music Composition, and Best Camera Editing at the 62nd Emmy Awards on Sunday August 29, 2010.
DO NOT MISS THIS FILM
Special thanks to Susan Garber (Marcus) for recommending the film.
