Many, many friends recommended I see this film , which was rated only 60% by Rotten Tomatoes . . . which was a warning. Takes place in Paris, 1960.
The best I can say about it is that is was pleasant entertainment. A good Hallmark Hall OF Fame TV Special. Plenty of schmaltz. Plot was from the Cary Grant movies of the 1930's where the stereotypical rich live much shallower lives than the maids and butlers who sleep on the 6th floor. (BBC Upstairs /Downstairs all over again). Cinematography average. Acting OK. Worth the 5 bucks I paid for it.
