Foreign; GermanInteresting but slow moving movie involving the intersection of the lives of people living in rural Austria. Very weak ending. Needs significant rewrite. Producers probably ran out of money and in desperation sent the scenes to the editor. Lots of frontal nudity. Good cinematography. Critics loved it. Would never sell in the USA. Received an Oscar nomination for Best Foreign Language Film.
