NO MAN'S LAND (2001) B-

Foreign, subtitles

Academy Award for best foreign film 2001.

During the Bosnian Civil War, two soldiers -- a Serb and a Bosnian -- find themselves trapped together in a trench between enemy lines, while the Bosnian's wounded comrade lies nearby atop a land mine that could blow them all to smithereens. Predicable story about the stupidity of war and how modern on-site reporting and UN intervention is involved with their bumbling bureaucracies.
