Subtitles: Russian No one talks much about the business of female sex slavery except Nicholas Kristof of the NY Times. He deals a lot with Asians who sell their children to brothels. Well here is a very gut-wrenching and unsettling movie about that subject.
Cinematography of grimy Russia very realistic. Acting excellent. Dysfunctional relationships between the kids and adults who are ready to dump there children for just the semblance of a better life . . . it's all here. And then the young naive girls who are caught in the ring of homelessness, poverty an prostitution. Not a very pretty picture of modern enlightened times.
I wish the movie had a happy ending, but it didn't. If you want realism and willing to view the depravity that exists many parts of our civilization get the DVD from Netflix
