MONSIEUR IBRAHIM (2003) B-

The 1960s in Paris is the backdrop for this average movie about a teenage 16 year old boy (with family problems) who lives in a working-class neighborhood and has very few friends . . . except for kindly local prostitutes.

Eventually, he finds a father figure in a local shopkeeper, a Muslim man from Turkey. The movie has a weak ending after the boy and the shopkeeper journey to the shopkeepers home in Turkey.
