This was a bad movie. Totally emotionless. Like turning the pages of cut out paper dolls in a children's book. Most of us only know Hitchcock from his introductions to his TV programs. I doubt he had ever been on a talk show. The writer and director created a world that didn't go beyond the emotions as you saw him on TV. Was touted in ads as a love story between him and his wife. Like watching two robots relating to each other.
Essentially is was an old story about how a director tries to get money from the movie moguls to make a film. In this case the film was PSYCHO. If you want a brainless evening, go watch this film. PS the music over was terrible also.
