TV Series Review: NURSE JACKIE (2009 -2012) B-

Edie Falco (from the Soprano's) stars as an emergency room nurse who works with of patients, doctors, fellow nurses and her own demons at a New York hospital -- occasionally with the aid of unprescribed prescription drugs.

Saw the first four episode of this less than interesting and predicable series. Many of her actions seem not to fit her personality as a stable working mother and wife.  Essentially a rehash of the more mundane portions of many of the hospital programs seen over the past years . . . without the excitement or drama of ER Or Saint Elsewhere.  Not clear to me why the series has survived through the years.  Maybe because it is one grade above a soap opera.
