This movie describes people who age and become somewhat irrational and stubborn . . . and in many case do many things that are not in their best interest . . . such as not telling a doctor what they are really feeling when they are sick. If you consider watching them act out their lives as they age . . . and watch there children hopelessly try to help, then this PAINFUL movie is for you.
I CAN NOT IMAGINE WHO WOULD PRODUCE SUCH A MOVIE AND MOREOVER, HOW IT GOT GOOD RATINGS ON ROTTEN TOMATOES. I have personally been involved a number of times with aged, stubborn, and mentally ill older people, and never thought it was a fun thing that I wanted to relive in a movie.
Here we find an elderly women who had dementia or alzheimer's and her narrow minded and stubborn husband in denial not in touch with her problems.
Some reviewers thought it, "an exquisitely crafted and deeply affecting love story about a couple in their twilight years. Based on true events and laced with wry humor, STILL MINE tells the heartfelt tale of Craig Morrison who comes up against the system when he sets out to build a more suitable house for his ailing wife Irene" .
