I tried 5 episodes of the first season of this series that has won all sorts of awards, and has been praised by many "professional " critics. It's BAD, BAD, BAD
The story is a little less than realistic. A milquetoast type chemistry genius, turned high school teacher, teams up with an ex-student to cook and sell the world's purest crystal meth so that he can provide for his family's future after he is diagnosed with lung cancer. His misadventures even leads him to murder a couple of drug dealers. Give me a break!
Most of the characters are both stereotypes of real people and obnoxious to the point that they are very difficult to be in the same room with.
More than that, the episodes moved at a snails pace.
