TV Series Review: INJUSTICE: (2011) A-

I gave this 5 episode series (2 DVD's) an A- even though the ending was somewhat predicable and contrived.  Otherwise it was a good English mystery involving crazy cops, lawyers and very good acting.  Fast moving plus it gives insight into up-to-date English culture and courts.

From Other Reviews:

This drama television series centers on criminal barrister William Travers.  On the surface William Travers is a picture of success. An accomplished criminal barrister happily living with his wife in rural Suffolk. However, Travers is still recovering from a traumatic series of events that have shaken his belief in the legal system.

A pretty predictable type of production, throwing together the ingredients so beloved of British TV crime these days: murders, shady blackmailing, adultery, CCTV footage, thugs and horrible crimes in pretty rural locales. The plot is fairly interesting, but the main problem is that there isn't enough story to justify the five hour running time. Still, Travers angst-ridden psyche kept me watching, so it's not all bad.
