This is a Woody Allen movie that I'm sure I previously saw but only remembered Larry David washing his hands. If you are a Woody Allen fan you probably saw this film a couple of years back.
Very funny dialog making fun of eccentric New York "intellectuals" and southern evangelists. Evan Rachel Wood is terrific as a young naive girl from the south
who has to deal with a fruitcake of a person, played by Larry David.
Usually these actresses that start with Woody Allen go on to
stardom, but I don't know what happened to her.
There are some interesting and serious psychological overtones
in this movie that Woody Allen first brought up in his movie
Manhattan. How do adult males and females know when they are
compatible with each other. Is it age? is it "so-called intelligence"?
Is it social or economic standing?
He has had his personal problems in this area and finally married his step daughter.
His easy answer in this movie is "Whatever Works"
