In earlier years John Reese, a former Green Beret and CIA operative, is living as a vagrant in New York City. He is approached by Harold Finch, a nerdy billionaire software genius. Finch explains that after the twin towers were attacked, he built a computer system for the government that uses surveillance information to predict future terrorist attacks. However, Finch discovered that the computer was predicting ordinary crimes as well. Because the government was not interested in ordinary crimes, Finch decides to stop these crimes from happening and he hires Reese to help.
In recent years some women became involved and joined the Finch team. Others big time thieves and politicians stole the computer (or built another competing system . . . who knows) and the plot line deteriorated. One of the women . . . a very sexy and creepy character named "Root" who is played by Amy Acker (picture on the right) is now in control of a computer and the whole series is repetitive, not understandable and just bad. Someone killed PERSON OF INTEREST. Maybe it was when I signed onto the NSA computers with my Mac.
