An excellent movie about the poorer people in India. The story involves an impoverished street merchant, Mahendra Saini, who sends his 12-year -old son away to work in a factory and then launches a search for the boy . . . when he doesn't return on the expected date. But Mahendra has no money and no picture of his child, hampering the hunt.
My guess is that the movie was primarily made as a message for the people in India who send their children to work rather than allow them to attend free schools provided by the government.
