Excellent, excellent movie for mature audiences that can emotionally understand and are in touch with the feelings associated with there own mortality. Wonderful acting, real people with real emotional conflicts, desires and problems. Personally it brought me back to the College and the neighborhood I lived in in upper Manhattan many, many years ago. This made the movie even more real and meaningful to me.
From Rotten Tomatoes: Alice Howland, happily married with three grown children, is a renowned linguistics professor starts to forget words. When she receives a diagnosis of Early-Onset Alzheimer's Disease, Alice and her family find their bonds thoroughly tested. Her struggle to stay connected to who she once was is frightening and heartbreaking.
