Killings, mayhem, infidelity, brutality, etc., etc.
After watching a season of this stuff we get the sense that all the plots of the series don't fully connect and that this sort of mayhem will go on forever. AND IT DOES. The acting is good, you run into all sorts of people and if you like this form of movie it's good. But it never goes anywhere . . . I suspect the drugs, cops, and criminal interplay will go on forever in that part of the world.
From Rotten Tomatoes:
El Paso cop Sonya Cross and Mexican detective Marco Ruiz hunt a serial killer exploiting anti-immigration tension in this gripping crime series. Rule-bending Ruiz clashes often with Cross, whose Asperger syndrome makes her all about protocol.
