Movie Review: INDIGNATION (2016) D -

I saw this movie because it received very good ratings from Rotten Tomatoes. The AUDIENCE SCORE was 90%. Unfortunetly it was HORRID.

Examining the reviews more carefully (after seeing the picture) I should have been aware that this was a thin nonsensical piece based on a book by Philip Roth. (That he probably wrote when he was 15 years old).

The problem with the movie was that the acting was terrible, the situation and people stereotypical and there was no plot line.  Need I say more.
This was just one of the full reviews I didn't read.
"Writer and director James Schamus turns Indignation into a minor period piece, a precise but seemingly pointless evocation of the stultifying conventionalism of an American university campus in the 1950s."
