SPAMLOT (live show) ZZZZZZZ-

(Friends of ours couldn't use the tickets so Sandy and I took their place)

Best part of the evening: The dinner with other couples prior to the show.
This show was a creepy combination of the movie Monty Python and The Holy Grail (which I saw years ago and still remember as fun), and a spoof of worst of Broadway musicals and Vegas shows.

Together this combination when over like a lead balloon. If you think a lot of the unimaginative song and dance acts on Broadway and in Vegas are mindless . . . just think of the spoof of this stupidly.

Interesting to see half of the audience laughing. Maybe I'm in a parallel universe. Especially crude and heavy handed were the references to gays and Jewish people. The producers would never make fun of Blacks in this manner.

The theater was to big to hear and see clearly, even from the front of the mezzanine. Real intimate.

We would have walked out if we drove by ourselves.

Horrible is too kind a word for this gaudy mess.
