Lions for Lambs is a pathetic attempt to describe how various people view our Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan involvement.It presents the obvious; the reporter who cow-tows to the her media bosses, the ultra-right wing politician who is striving to be the next president, a college professor trying to convince a promising student to be less depressed about the state of democracy in the US, and some poor soldiers who have to fight in the war. You have had to be living on Mars for the last years to have not thought about and discussed these issues.
Many of the scenes didn't make any sense at all in terms of the real world and the screenwriting was as poor as I can remember. When the end came, I couldn't believe that that was all the producers had to offer. I felt as if hadn't seen a complete movie. No character development, and a propagandist shallowness to every issue it attempts to address.
