PERSEPOLIS (2007) C

This movie is about a young women who grows up in Iran during and after the political takeover by the radical Islamics. For adults, the story repeats, in a pseudo-documentary form, what most of us already know about living in that world of thought control and suppression of human dignity and human rights. Ending to the film is non existent. 

The use of animation adds nothing to the narrative and reduces the more emotional relationship elements that could have been brought in if the movie was filmed in a conventional manner.
