28 WEEKS LATER (2007) (FF)

After watching and giving I AM LEGEND with Will Smith and a B++ rating, a friends teenage grandson suggested I see 28 WEEKS LATER. The Will Smith movie was about a terrible virus that spreads across the planet and turned the human race into bloodthirsty monsters.

In 28 WEEKS LATER the British Isles loses it's battle against another deadly virus which turns people into monsters again. Six months later, NATO tries to resettle London but the virus takes hold again. In this film we see the human monsters gouging out peoples eyes and bleeding from the mouth and ears as they tear people apart. To stop the new outbreak NATO soldiers use machine guns, poison gas, flamethrowers and napalm to kill the thousands of innocent re-settlers who could possibly be infected. Blood everywhere. No due-process or anything like that. Sandy left half-way through the mayhem. Get the picture?
