Another phony intense New York City cop movie with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. Total miscast as 50 year old detectives. They both look more like 78 year old grandpas that belong on the golf courses of south Florida. Also very exciting to see De Niro having an affair with a hardened beautiful 35 year old police women. From my experience as a pseudo-urologist I truly wondered about his performance.
Either the directing, script or acting was way off center. The plot line wasn't all that clear because of the use of unintelligible cop-speak, Pacino and De Niro were emoting rather than acting and your never got to know or care about anyone in the cast. I just don't understand why Hollywood would think that this movie would work.
