An excellent and sobering movie that describes the REAL and ugly effect of war on soldiers and ordinary people. This film should be shown to every person in Congress and the Administration who votes to send the young and least educated people in the country to unnecessary foreign conflicts. It's interesting that the movie theater I frequent always shows a professionally produced promotional short (targeted for young people), with the coming attractions, showing how your life will be made much more exciting and enriched by joining National Guard. Cinematography and music for short = AA.
Only problem with the movie is that covers too many problems faced by returning soldiers. These include the job of telling family members of the death of their loved one, the PTSD faced by EVERYONE who has to kill others in wartime and the emptiness of the lives of many of those who join the all volunteer military.
