The story line and screenwriting for this movie is poor to bad. The acting creates little or no excitement and suspense. However, it is a worthwhile see for fans of the TV Series 24 and those people interested in either visiting or revisiting Rome.The ANGELS AND DEMONS cinematography of Rome is nothing short of sensational. Scenes of the Vatican, churches and conclave of cardinals are wonderful.
The movie had real potential if;
1. it didn't start with some foolish science fiction antimatter being created at the CERN installation in Switzerland by a couple of renegade scientists (Sci-Fi must be plausible to work),
2. it seriously dealt with the issue of the church suppressing scientific discoveries that don't agree with church dogma and
3. it had the direction and writing that allows 24 to create excitement.
