Best Foreign Language Film
2009 Academy Award
Wonderful up-to-date Japanese movie about a young couple discovering each other and the things most important to them. Acting, direction, music as good as the best America has to offer. Unique story. This is definitely not a "formula " film.

This was definitely the best foreign language film of the year. It is the most touching film I have seen in years. I admit it had me shedding some tears along with everyone else in the audience.
