COBB (UNRATED)

Thought this 1994 movie was about Ty Cobb. However, it opens with a story about a inane sports writer that has been hired by Cobb to write his story . . . or something like that. Movie looked like a lost cause and I ejected the DVD after about 7 or 8 minutes. Sandy wanted to end it earlier.

HOW TO SELECT A MOVIE OR TV PROGRAM

SELECT THE ENTERTAINMENT CATEGORY YOU WISH TO ENTER . . . FROM THE LIST SHOWN ABOVE (UNDER THE RED BOX) . . . AND YOU WILL BE PRESENTED WITH THE RATINGS OF MOVIES AND TV PROGRAMS . . . FROM RATING A TO RATING F.

THEN IF YOU WISH TO SEE THE DETAILS OF A REVIEW, EITHER CLICK ON THE NAME (IF IT IS IN RED) OR ENTER THE NAME OF THE MOVIE (OR PART OF THE NAME) IN THE SEARCH BOX IN UPPER LEFT CORNER OF THIS PAGE. A REVIEW OF THAT SELECTION WILL THEN APPEAR.

PS. YOU MAY NOT FIND THE MOVIE OR TV DRAMA OR SERIES YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IN THIS SITE BECAUSE IT COULD HAVE PREVIOUSLY RECEIVED A POOR REVIEW BY OTHER RESPONSIBLE GROWN UPS OR IT HAS NOT BEEN REVIEWED BY OUR TEAM.

Warren is retired and lives in Florida where he runs a foreign movie program for adults. He subscribes to NETFLIX and uses Rotten Tomatoes as one of the sources for selecting movies to review.

Started watching movies at about eight years old and was strongly influenced by "Fantasia" for it's combination of music and fantasy. He was profoundly impacted in his early teen years by the social content in "I AM A FUGITIVE FROM A CHAIN GANG".

As a kid he used to enter the movie house in the middle of a double feature and leave when the movie reached the part where he came in. Loved serials and was able to see most double features for ten or twenty-five cents.

A graduate of Columbia University and City College of New York (CCNY), he strongly believes that good movies . . . with mature content . . . are a significant supplement to education and insight into the world around us. No egghead, he also believes that "It's A Wonderful Life", "Young Frankenstein", "The Producers", West Side Story", and "Seven Brides For Seven Brothers" are great films.
