Very disappointing (C). But Sandy and others liked it (B). Formula science fiction movie of the 50's genre. Very predictable.
FEATURING: Unprincipled pharmaceutical house testing animals and not taking appropriate safety precautions, bad guy mistreating animals and getting his cum-upends at the hands of the apes, weak love relationship between multiracial couple, infectious disease created by money hungry corporate executives that spreads throughout the world, etc., etc.
Only redeeming feature was fight between the apes and the cops. Visuals from the same group that created Avatar and Lord of the Rings.
Godzilla vs. Mothra had a more mature plot.
