A film that takes you on an emotional roller coaster. At first I thought that this movie would be one more gut wrenching story about Holocaust survivors. But it turns out to be a lot more than that.
The film takes us into the world of an American journalist married to a Frenchman who is commissioned to write an article about the notorious Vel d'Hiv round up, which took place in Paris, in 1942. Her relationships with the survivors and the families involved create a place that is worthwhile to enter and share.
