Interesting and very unusual movie is about a couple that have only a few minutes to replace a 100,000 deutsche marks the male lead lost to a gambler. This action filled story of replacing the money is repeated a number of times with slight variations of action and the outcome. Similar to a number of different takes a director would use with a focus group to determine the best way to play the scene. No real plot but significant tension is created by observing the varied interactions of the players. To add to the excitement the director used unique cinematic techniques including whip pans, jump cuts, slow and fast motion, split-screen, intercut color and black and white, segment titles, and animation. If you are looking for a conventional movie with a beginning, middle and end, this is not for you.
