The Guardian ran for 3 seasons during the early 2000's. All the episodes are available on Nextflix. I consider the stories realistic and emotionally sensitive. There's fast moving action, character development, and social content above and beyond any program you would find on TV today.
If you are subscriber to Netflix I strongly recommend this super sensational series.
