This netflix movie had the potential of being an excellent WWII spy
film. The scenes in Germany were sensational and frightening.
Unfortunately the producers decided to make this movie in a "chick
flick" and seriously miscast a girlish Melanie Griffith as a spy and
weepy love interest of Michael Douglas.
She, and her cutesy Marilyn Monroe voice, was no more suited to be a
spy in Germany in 1943, than the man in the moon.
Her errors in judgement, the elements of the secret material she
uncovers in unlikely locations, and other flawed aspect of this spy
charade also made the story line in a farce.
Too bad. It could have been a better film. It had many exciting moments.
