Poorly acted and directed movie that looks as if it was a Broadway play that was moved to the big screen. Attempts to be a thriller with twists and turns to the plot.
In this thing called a movie a naive inventor develops a top-secret (unidentified) "process" guaranteed to make billions for his company. Bad guys plot to steal it. The major aspect of the story is that we don't know till the end who is part of the conspiracy to steal the "process". That's the whole story in a nutshell. In the end someone gets killed and the good guys come out of the woodwork to catch the bad guys in an unexplained manner.
David Mamet wrote and directed this nonsense.
