Never saw this sensational movie when it was released. A real life (and true) mafia story (as opposed to the Sopranos), with all the ugliness and violence that surrounds these types of films. The thing that makes this movie different is the screenplay that tell the story of a mobster who is not satisfied with his position in the mob (Al Pachino) and his friend (an FBI mole, Johny Depp) who slowly turns into one of the mobsters. Acting super.If you have not seen this movie . . . rent it this week. I would consider this movie a classic.
