Story about England's Queen Elizabeth I acceding to the throne in the 1500's. The movie
attempts to show intrigue in the court at the time of Elizabeth coming to power. The original uncut version was probably 5 hours long. When it got cut to two hours, the story line, court intrigue and romantic interludes became totally impossible to comprehend . . . and I know some of the history of that time.
Did not get an F because the costuming was terrific
