I gave this movie two rating because it can be viewed in two different ways.As 1), a very brief biography of George W Bush (the B) and 2), as the state of the democratic process of selecting leaders in the western world, (the A++).
As a biography, it shows George in all his glory as a jerky irresponsible drunken playboy, with no capability of introspection . . . and his family as only partially capable of bringing up children without destroying their sense of self worth. Because all the true facts about the people in George W's life were not know to the screenwriter, most of the players in the movie are stereotypes of real people. (i.e., Colin Powell comes off as a total wimp and Condi as a lap dog).
As a story about who can become the leader of the world (by what we consider a democratic process), the movie is right on the button. It is my opinion, and the opinion of others, the western world is fully capable of selecting a lunatic or imbecile for leadership. Even with the parliamentary system of selecting Prime Ministers (Israel, Great Britain, etc., etc.) it appears that the world is on a knife edge of surviving.
One only need to note that Hitler came to power through the parliamentary democratic process.
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
