An older watchable brainless movie I saw on TV recently. A copy of the Film Noir format with the Sam Spade type of hard-boiled detective hero . . . but this time with more violence.
Mel Gibson is pulled into a heist by an old friend. As they're stealing $130,000 in laundered drug money from the Chinese criminals, Gibson runs into all sorts of double crosses. Also involved is "TheSyndicate", which is a substitute in this movie for the mafia.
