GEORGE CARLIN: IT'S BAD FOR YA (2008) A

George Carlin talks about human frailties that I also obsess about. People who know me agree that I may be more of a cynic than Carlin. Unfortunately, in our unplanned, unjust and unstable human existence on earth, technology has moved at the speed of light compared to advances in political and psychological sciences . . . which doesn't fare well for the species. Too bad Carlin wasn't able to witness 48% of American voting for Sarah Palin for Vice President of the United States.

From Netfiix: In his final filmed performance Carlin urges Americans to just say no to BS, serving up sharp-witted takes on society's ridiculous obsessions including the fallout from the self-esteem movement and spoiled kids. Ever dubious of authority, the 70-year-old Carlin lets his anti-establishment flag fly by riffing on America's follow-the-leader mentality and skewering politicians and other so-called experts.

I just love when he said "F*** Tiger Woods, I don't want anyone telling me who to revere and love". That was just before Bob Costas of NBC showed me how to revere love Apolo Ohno and Lindsey Vonn during the winter Olympics.
