An uneven series of partially connected episodes of a police detective's activities (COPPER) in New York City in the 1860's.
Best part about the series are the sets, costumes and morality of the people of that era. Set in the "Five Points" neighborhood of New York it focus' on a rugged young Irish cop who is forced to navigate his unruly and dangerous immigrant neighborhood while interacting with the uptown Manhattan crowd and the black community
